First touch has become the most important ability in world football by today. A better touch buys you time to make better decisions.
A better touch gives you a better chance of beating your opponent and eventually score THAT goal that we all watch football for.
At SFA we focus on the amount of touches each player gets on the ball at every training session to help you gain as much confidence on the ball as possible so that you can become a complete player before you know it.
HOW WE TRAIN
At Sevenoaks Football Academy our aim is to develop young footballers by emphasising the importance of first touches. We believe this approach gives young footballers the best chance to improve their skillset the quickest. To help them achieve this we have implemented futsal into our programme.

BOOK A TRIAL
Our trials will be held at Trinity School’s 3G for the 2025/2026 season for 4 different age groups. These are U7s to U10s.
Children will be sorted into their age groups at the gate. Please fill out the form and show your confirmation email to our member of staff on the day who will guide you to the correct coach.

Our trials will take place in the summer of 2025, time and place to be confirmed.
